In addition, here mostly not only incorrect information about the species is given, but also the wildest names for variegations are invented.

But:

• Most likely, the majority of colorful variegated Kaempferia are of the species 'Pulchra' - not 'Elegans' or 'Galanga', even if that might sound more 'special'.

• For the variegations, there are no official names.

• Variegations can vary extremely within a plant with each new leaf.
